Able Towing of Cortez
Situation
Able Towing of Cortez runs towing and recovery services plus a truck parts and supplies side of the business (including Automann parts). They needed a website that could represent both sides of the business — the towing fleet and the parts shop — on a fast, reliable site with a real photo gallery of their trucks and shop.
What Metra Built
A custom site covering the towing/recovery service, the parts and supplies shop, and a photo gallery of the truck fleet and shop. Once the build was stable, we moved it off Metra's shared hosting bundle onto its own dedicated site with its own SSL certificate — reducing any dependency on other clients' deploys and giving it its own monitoring.
Key Decisions
- Dedicated hosting isolation. Able Towing runs on its own Netlify site (own domain, own SSL certificate, own deploy pipeline) instead of the shared multi-client bundle — so a change to another client's site can never affect Able Towing's uptime.
- Two audiences, one site. The towing/recovery customer and the truck-parts customer are different searches with different intent — the site is structured so both land on the right page instead of a single generic homepage.
- Real fleet photography instead of stock truck images — the gallery shows their actual trucks and shop.
